explains how emotional problems, including

impairment in the ability to become close to, attached to, and trusting of others; |

a strong need to feel in
control of some aspect of their lives in order to compensate for feelings of vulnerability
and insecurity; |

impaired sense of identity, including low self esteem; |

strong
anger and rage; |
| |
e. | |
developmental delays and regression in social skills; |
| |
f. | |
negative attitudes; and |
| |
g. | |
selfish ineffective values develop and how they produce behavioral problems; |

demonstrates many responses and interventions that are effective in working on and reducing these problems; |

teaches specific ways to help children learn how to:
